Children are invited to practice their reading skills with friendly puppy pals! Trained therapy dogs
make an ideal audience for beginning, struggling and reluctant readers. The dogs are
non-judgmental listeners, which allows kids to practice in a no pressure situation, which can
also help to build a positive attitude toward reading.
Join us in the Children’s Department one Saturday a month for Paws to Read.
