Meet Our Executive Director
Melanie Black, a Barberton native, serves as Executive Director, where she leads efforts focused on downtown revitalization, economic development, and community engagement. With more than 20 plus years of experience in government, nonprofit leadership, and small business ownership as well as overseeing several Boards, Melanie is passionate about bringing people together to strengthen Barberton’s downtown and create a vibrant, welcoming community for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
